Well heres how my first day of classes went. This was of course yesterday .. but none the less I still remember it ... yes...like it was yesterday ... because it was .... lol 8:30AM wake up!!!! I did my hair, burshed my teeth. yeah - al lthat fancy stuff. I couldn't shower because my room mate Emily was showering (even though I told her before I went to bed that I would be up at x time and I would be uysing the shower but hey it happens. She apologized. All is well. lol I did feel particularly gross all day due to no shower but I survived. Anywho I got dressed and changed into some comfy outdoor clothes and headed to breakfast. I got there, ate with some cool people, anbd then headed back to my dorm to change for the day. 9:45AM I changed into clothes that werent my fist pick seeing how it wa slaundry daya nd I had no clean clothes. I made a mental note to do my laundry later that afternoon after lunch. I grab my books - realized how I forgot to bring my backpack from home - feeling quite dumb I wait around a bit for my shower hogging room mate (lol j/k) to be ready because we take this particular class together (PSYCHOLOGY 101). We walk down to our class and I then see Angela who I meet up with and we go and sit down in class. I start to notice aquaintences in my class - and I feel quiiite bubbly! ^-^ 10:50 AM Alright so PSYCH 101 is let out and I'm feeling quite grateful because my PSYCH professor is insane lol Angela and I head next door to Comp class - and I notice a few people who are more than aquaintances in this class. My teahc is also VERY nice and understanding. COMP should be a breeze once I get my books. 11:50AM Alright so I'm done for the day! woo go me! Angela and I decide to head to Mass because on campus we have Daily Mass at 12PM which is perfect for everybody. So anywho we head to our dorms to put our books away then met back up at Mass ten minutes later. 1:05PM Mass was awesome. So many more people than I (and every one else) expected showed up! It was awesome. Anywho at this point I'm exhausted yet I head to lunch with my buddies Sarah and Elena. Kevin also sat wit us as did Angela, Sally, and Adam (who is in my COMP class and is awesomely funny lol) After lunch I went back to my dorm room to collect my laundry. I did so and took it down to the laundry room, put the load on when I realize WOOPS! I locked myself out of my dorm because I left the room without my key. GO ME! lol I head up to the Administration office to ask Erin who to look for when this happens, and she told me to go straight to Andy (the head of Student Affairs). So she walks me up to his office and I told him what happened so he (being a gracious sweetheart!!!) lent me HIS key to let myself into my Villa and into my dorm. Go me. Got my key, went to give Andy back his and lo and behold! There's Tye in Andy's office chattin away!! lol Anywho after I dropped that off I just went back to my dorm and watched Passions and took a nap. I then woke up to go put my laundry into the dryer... then headed to confession. Yup, we haveit 4 days a week... so I went 4PM Yup .... confession... lol 4:45PM I headed to check on my laundry - it was done. SO I went to my dorm and got my bag and went to collect my clean, dry laundry! Go me! lol I folded itu p, hung it up, ironed what needed to be ironed, and then headed to dinner inthe cafeteria. yay! 5:30PM I had dinner with ben, Brittany, and Sarah. Sarah left after while... Brittany, Ben and I had a nice little chat. We talked for like EVER! lol And after dinner we all took Ben's car up to the outlet malls and went shopping. it was fun almost every store there was having a 50% off sale on thier tank tops. We had fun ^-^ 9PM Came back to cmapus. Ben, Brit and I split up.. said we'd meet up later for a movie in Villa 9! woot! lol I heard someone call my name and it was Angela, Sara( this is a different Sara lol), and Sally. I went over to them and they were headed to do laundry and then tyhe rosary and 9:45 int he chapel which I had forgotten baout and was glad to go to so I joined them in the laundry room... and we talked about almost everyhting under the sun and then headed to the rosary. Fun crazy times. After the rosary Sara told me that she felt Mary there and that we needed to take our shoes off inthe chapel because that's what Mary told her to do. So we did. And then Mary told Sara to leave but Angela and I felt that we needed to stay in the chapel ... so we did until like 11:30. I tjust felt right. So we did. Although we had early clases we still did. it felt so great. When we had enough we went onm our way to our dorms but then we saw Sara, Elena, Theresa, and Steve sitting by the pool so we joined them in laying ont he ground staring at the stars and talking about God among other things. JC joined us, too :) He's a cool dude, he really is. ^-^ 11:45PM I had enough. I left them to go to bed, Angela went to do her laundry. I has early classes, but I knew that God would bless me with the energy to go on the next day lol 12:00Pm GOODNIGHT! It was ana wesome day. More later :) Jocie |
